Project Details

Collaborated with the Kotak Sakti Team and Faculty of Technology, UPM, to develop a dashboard tool for analyzing biodiversity changes over time and assessing the impact of different forest management strategies. Historical data from 2010, provided by FRIM Malaysia, included metrics such as tree density, basal area, species type, growth volume, and diameter. The initial focus was on the Pasoh Forest in Perak, with plans to expand to other forests in Malaysia.

Things I Did

Task
Translate stakeholder requirements into dashboard features that enable users to quickly understand forest conditions. The objective was to digitize historical data for easier access and broader use.

Action

Collaborated closely with stakeholders to understand existing manual processes and identify opportunities for digitization.
Designed and refined the user journey, creating mockups and prototypes to visualize the dashboard based on requirements.
Worked with the business analyst and developers to align goals and ensure feasibility.
